Fairhope AL: Art Galleries

Fairhope, AL is known for arts and crafts, but it is also considered an Utopian site for a second home according to an article in  USA Today written in 2010 by Larry Olmstead. It is a great place for people that like art, seafood, and a quaint tourist town.

Fairhope is home to numerous art galleries, antique shops, local restaurants, and boutiques. During March the small city is bombarded with more than 150,000 tourists there to attend the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival, and each one is a welcomed guest.

Money Magazine touts it as one of the first-class places to retire. It is a wonderful place to fish and go boating.  It sports a biking path and a jogging path. It has a couple of golf courses. So, you can entice your sports minded spouse to visit and enjoy the sports amenities, while you enjoy the art.
