Michael Reaves wrote an exciting story for vampire and noir fans. His startup capital, attained at KickStarter, jumped the project into action. It's foreseen completion date is in 2014.
The story unfolds in Hollywood's Golden Age. It's a vampire story replete in noir ingredients like a vamp, night setting, and the flatfoot. Joe Belicek takes the challenge to solve a vampire murder, but the hard boiled detective isn't a believer in the mythic creatures. The demented killer must be stopped before he gets their power. Our 1940's gumshoe runs amiss angering vampires and some Hollywood studio people.
Neil Gaiman, comic book writer of note and Amber Benson of Buffy The Vampire Slayer fame are starring in the flick. Amber plays a popular diva that contracts Belicek for protection. He falls in love, afterwards unearthing her shadowy secret. Gaiman's character is an idiosyncratic Hollywood director.
